Language Policy

The International Journal of Social Studies in Sport (IJSSS) accepts manuscripts written in English.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are written in clear, accurate, and professional academic English before submission.

Manuscripts should use consistent terminology, grammar, spelling, and academic style throughout the text.

The editorial team may request language revision when a manuscript contains substantial linguistic problems that affect clarity, readability, or the evaluation of its scientific content.

Language quality is considered separately from the scientific evaluation of the manuscript. Authors are responsible for completing any language revisions requested by the editorial team.

The use of professional language editing services is optional and does not influence editorial or peer review decisions.

If artificial intelligence tools are used for translation or language editing, such use must comply with the journal’s AI Policy and should be disclosed where required.

The journal uses English as its primary publication language for all articles, abstracts, keywords, tables, figures, and supplementary materials unless otherwise approved by the editorial team.
