Submission Preparation Checklist
Writing Rules
Manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Social Studies in Sport (IJSSS) must be prepared in accordance with the IJSSS Manuscript Preparation Guide and the official Manuscript Template.
Manuscripts must be written in English and prepared for double-blind peer review. The main manuscript file must not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other information that may reveal author identity.
In-text citations and references must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th edition (APA 7).
Authors should follow the journal’s requirements regarding:

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official Manuscript Template when preparing their submissions.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s writing and formatting requirements may be returned to the authors for technical revision before editorial evaluation.

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the work.
