About the Journal
The International Journal of Social Studies in Sport (IJSSS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly knowledge on the social, cultural, educational, psychological, managerial, legal, and policy-related dimensions of sport, recreation, and physical activity.
IJSSS provides an interdisciplinary platform for research examining the relationship between sport and society. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, theoretical and conceptual papers, and short communications that contribute to contemporary debates in sport and the social sciences.
The journal applies a double-blind peer review process and is published twice a year, in May and November. Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year.
